that's a interesting, if worrying proposition but after how amazing Lost Judgment turned out, I'll assume RGGS know how to handle combat in the DE engine now and will be optimistic.įirst off.

That's really it, I dont really want the game altered all too much, just fix the missable content.

Remember how RGG3 (and any game since) lets you carry on any content after you finish the game? Well Kenzan resets your mini game and side story progress when you use the PA mode so that's both silly and a pain if your like me trying to 100% the game! Oh, and let me feed turtles without the 1 minute cool down, that just wastes my time in an otherwise awesome mini game. What it does need fixing is that damn premium adventure mode. Kenzan still holds up extremely well in my eyes, looks gorgeous thanks to the use of certain colours to paint scenes like the Yoshioka Dojo ambush and Rendai Fields, or the dusk time setting along the river/sea area, or the contrasting colours in the forest and mountain paths of all the trees with the sun just peering over the tree line. Hopefully none of the mini games break when tweaking the FPS, not like Kenzan was a push over to 100% (trust me, I did it eventually!) So having fun for a moment, IF Kenzan were to be remade (or even just remastered), lets think about what that may look like:Ī port/remaster should just bump things up res and FPS wise. Not saying a Kenzan remake isnt happening, but I hope people will be realistic with their expectations (looks at recent Persona threads. Yeah, sounds like a cop out answer but keep in mind the end of Gematsu's tweet mentions merch updates and NOT new game updates. Realistically maybe that several day mainline playthrough of the series last year did well enough that they wanted to do another.
